The houses
Noel Park's terraces were built by the Artizans', Labourers' and General Dwellings Company. They come in a handful of standard types with low rooms and small windows, and the estate is now a conservation area. Around Turnpike Lane and Wood Green are Victorian terraces, flats above shops on the High Road, and newer purpose-built blocks. Bounds Green has Edwardian and interwar houses, and the ward is split between Haringey and Enfield.
What that means for decorating
- Small rooms price simply. Noel Park cottages suit the smaller room presets. Whole-house interiors are very predictable to quote.
- Flats above shops. Access is often by a rear or side door and a steep stair. Tell us about loading and parking on the High Road.
- Noel Park conservation area. Exterior changes, including front door and window colours, are controlled on the estate. Check before choosing a new colour.
